User Centric Design Methods Day One Session 3 – Instructions for Class Exercise

Team list & Project Title

  • Define your project – and users, primary, secondary, and tertiary.
  • Maybe articulate a Problem Statement set (preliminary).
  • Get Voice of Users.
  • Create 10 to 15 survey questions – conduct the survey.
  • Can you get emotional content as well (if possible)?
  • Interview 10 people.
  • Listen to voice tones and NLP-based expressions if possible & typical communication practices.
  • Plan demo UXD- mobile/tab/desktop.
  • Observe the usage, of all five senses, and do the best you can.
  • Create a Focus Group and build story and develop a storyboard.
  • Carry out an affinity diagram.
  • Be conscious of stakeholders and do a quick pen portrait persona. (hope this is known).
